Doctoral+

University of Helsinki is a part of the Doctoral+ agreement, which enables doctoral researchers to apply for course-specific study rights between the participating universities. Under this agreement doctoral researchers can apply free-of-charge for a fixed-term right to complete doctoral level courses that will be included in their doctoral degree at another university that is part of the agreement. 

In addition to University of Helsinki, the agreement includes Aalto University, Hanken, University of the Arts Helsinki, University of Eastern Finland, University of Lapland, University of Oulu, University of Turku, University of Vaasa and Åbo Akademi

Please note, that you can apply for study right to doctoral level courses only, not to master or candidate level courses.

Application form

If you are a doctoral researcher at one of the above universities, you can apply for a non-degree study right for a doctoral course by requesting an application form from uhds-office@helsinki.fi.
