Studies in a teaching subject

Optional courses in Changing Education Master's programme

OPTIONAL COURSES

The curriculum for 2026-2030 includes ten elective modules together, of which three modules are in english.  All the optional modules can be found on the list (pdf-file) at this page (page is in Finnish). 

Some of the modules contain both lower (EQF level 6) and higher (EQF level 7) higher education level courses, and some courses belong to more than one module. Master's level (EQF level 7) courses are identified by codes starting with EDUM and EDUMCE. EDUK-courses are at the bachelor's level. The organization of modules and courses is decided annually in the teaching program. 

Students can either complete individual courses from a module or complete a cohesive package comprising 15–25 credits.
