The course Academic Communication Competence (KK-AIAKVU1OP) is being organised for the second time, now as a conference. On this course offered in the second teaching period, you will work independently in Moodle and attend the conference on Monday, 16 November 2026 from 10.00 to 16.00.
Interaction skills are essential in professional life and studying. The course will give you the chance to delve into an interaction-related theme of your choice and examine your notion of yourself as a communicator through interaction research. You will have the opportunity to explore
- Phenomena associated with interaction
- Communication skills needed in professional life
- How to interact more effectively and appropriately
- How to consciously develop your communication skills
What does the conference entail?
The conference is a joint event for the entire course group, including expert talks and small-group work on themes related to interaction.
The course includes students from the faculties of Humanities; Educational Sciences; Science; Agriculture and Forestry; Biological and Environmental Sciences; Law; Theology; and Medicine. At the conference, you’ll get to meet and network with students from a variety of fields.
