Una Europa Summer School for Doctoral Researchers: Sustainable Food Systems 

Are you a doctoral researcher passionate about sustainable food systems? Don't miss the Una Europa PhD Summer School on Sustainable Food Systems, taking place from June 2nd to June 6th, 2025, at the University of Helsinki! 

Read the call carefully on Una Europa website and apply by 28 February. 

There is no tuition fee. However, the summer school does not provide accommodation for UH’s doctoral researchers during the stay in Helsinki, nor does it offer financial support for travel expenses if you are traveling from afar. 

Una Europa PhD Workshop in Bologna: Museums and New Challenges 

The workshop, taking place in Bologna 5.-10. May, is open to PhD students from Una Europa universities, providing them with an excellent opportunity to expand their professional network and contribute to important discussions on the future of museums and cultural heritage. Please read more on the call on Una Europa website and apply before 8 February. 

The event is free of charge. The selected participants from the University of Helsinki will receive Erasmus+ funding for their travel and accommodation costs either as students (79 euros per day + a travel scholarship) or as staff members (moderate accommodation and travel costs will be covered) depending on their employment status at UH.Detailed instructions about the funding will be sent to the selected participants by studentexchange@helsinki.fi or staffexchange@helsinki.fi.
