Bulletin 25.11.2025

HelsinkiUni Help is the University’s new advice service that you can contact about any matter. For students, HelsinkiUni Help offers assistance with these topics and more:

  • Study rights and registration for the academic year
  • Using Sisu
  • Language and communication studies
  • Certificates and signing of documents
  • Graduation
  • All other questions related to studying: If we don’t know the answer, we will find a solution and appropriate support with you.

In the digital HelsinkiUni Help service you can search for content from several University web services using a single search feature, chat with specialists every weekday from 9.00 to 15.00, and submit service requests.

HelsinkiUni Help opens on 27 November 2025. After that, you will find the service in the top bar of the Studies Service and Flamma, as well as via a direct link at uni-help.helsinki.fi.

If needed, you can also reach us by email at uni-help@helsinki.fi.

Aside from the digital service, you can meet us in person by visiting the new HelsinkiUni Help on-site service points coming soon to the campuses. The service points will open in stages, beginning with the City Centre Campus location in Kaisa House.

Join the campus tour and get to know the new service

At the beginning of December, HelsinkiUni Help will also be visible on campuses: we are organizing a campus tour from 4 to 11 December, where you can meet HelsinkiUni Help staff, share your thoughts, and try out the new service.

Testing will only take a few minutes of your time. We will reward the first 200 people to try out the service with coffee and a bun, which can be redeemed at Unicafe. Alternatively, you can choose a university tote bag as your reward, of which there are for the first 75 testers. There will also be small sweets for everyone.

The tour will stop at campuses as follows:

  • 4 Dec: Kumpula, Physicum lobby, 11–15
  • 5 Dec: Viikki, Infocenter Korona lobby, 11–15
  • 8 Dec: City Centre Campus, Siltavuorenpenger, in front of Minerva square, 11–15
  • 9 Dec: City Centre Campus, Porthania lobby, 11–15
  • 10 Dec: City Centre Campus, Kaisa House lobby, 11–15
  • 11 Dec: Meilahti, Biomedicum 1 lobby, 11–15

Questions?

The opening of HelsinkiUni Help will affect a number of familiar services: for example, the Kaisa House student advice and Open University student advice will now be a part of HelsinkiUni Help. As the new service is deployed, many familiar service email addresses will also go out of use – from now on, when you need to contact advice and support services, you only need to remember one address: uni-help.helsinki.fi.

To learn more about HelsinkiUni Help, read the more detailed bulletin on the topic published last week. And if you have any questions on the new service, starting from Thursday you can contact us every weekday!
