Bulletin 14.9.2026

The EDUFI traineeship programme, coordinated by the Finnish National Agency for Education, offers higher education students and recent graduates the opportunity to gain international expertise and work experience, as well as to develop their professional skills. A wide range of interesting traineeship positions are available for students from various fields around the world.

Please note that the criteria set by the Finnish National Agency for Education include Finnish citizenship or permanent residence in Finland. This, unfortunately, means that if you are in Finland only for studying or another temporary reason, you are not eligible for an EDUFI traineeship position.

The autumn 2026 application round will take place from 17 September to 1 October 2026. The online application form will open at the start of the application period and close on the final day at 23:59 (Finland's time).

The autumn round includes traineeship positions at Finnish diplomatic missions and cultural and academic institutes. Please note that most placements require knowledge of Finnish.

More information and application instructions can be found on the Finnish National Agency for Education’s website.

If you have any questions about the application process, please contact the Finnish National Agency for Education directly: edufi-harjoittelu@oph.fi
